Employees

General: Browser Support Changes
• Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is no longer a supported browser. If you continue to use Internet Explorer 8, you will still be able to log into PerformSmart, however:
• We cannot guarantee the stability and usability of the application with IE8.
• We will not deploy any future code fixes to resolve defects/issues associated with IE8.


Performance Reviews
• The Review Status field now defaults to “All-Ready/In-Progress” on the Team Review List page on the Reviews tab. This will make it easier to see all reviews that are in progress. To see reviews in a specific state or to view all reviews regardless of state, simply change the Review Status field from the default to your desired selection.
• The Team Review List page on the Reviews tab now has a default sort of Employee Name in ascending alphabetical order.
• The filter criteria you select on the Me and Team review list pages now persist on the Reviews tab until you leave the session.
• Changed the notification the employee receives when it’s time for the employee to enter their post review feedback from “Your review is now ready for Post Face to Face Feedback” to “Your review is now ready for Post-Review Feedback”.

Reports
• We added a new report titled “Post-Review Feedback Report”. Now supervisors can quickly view their employee’s feedback in one report.



Administrators

General
• Research indicates that the user-defined text and date fields in the review header do not provide sufficient value to our customers. We have removed these fields from the feature in order to streamline the application and make it easier to use and maintain.
• We renamed the Description tab to make it easier to find your job codes in the product. The tab is now named “Jobs”.
• Resolved an issue that was preventing administrators from importing an employee’s picture in the Employees tab.
• User access will now automatically be revoked in Licensing when you change an employee’s status to “Terminated” using the employee import process.
• The “Master List” option for creating new job titles has been removed from the Jobs page in order to streamline the application and make it easier to use and maintain.

Performance Reviews
• New review templates will now default to “Active” upon creation.
• The Review Status field now defaults to “All-Ready/In-Progress” on the All Employee Review list on the Reviews tab. This will make it easier to see all reviews that are in progress. To see reviews in a specific state or to view all reviews regardless of state, simply change the Review Status field from the default to your desired selection.

  • Effective November 1, 2014, Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) will no longer be supported. If you continue to use Internet Explorer 8 after November 1, 2014, you will still be able to log into PerformSmart, however:
  • We cannot guarantee the stability and usability of the application with IE8.
  • We will not deploy any future code fixes to resolve defects/issues associated with IE8.
  • Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) are now supported browsers.



Administrators

• Data Import Wizard: We modified the "Add/Update Employees" data import template to allow "terminated" as a valid option for the employee status column.

• General: We resolved an issue that prevented Spell Check from working for users on FireFox versions 28 and 29.
• Performance Reviews: We corrected an issue that caused certain users to experience errors when using long goal names.

• Data Import Wizard: We fixed a problem that was preventing certain Power Users from being able to import employee data.

Employees

• Performance Reviews: We corrected an issue that was preventing users on Internet Explorer version 9 from printing in-progress reviews.



Administrators

• Data Import Wizard: We are excited to announce enhancements to our Data Import Wizard!
  • When importing employees you will no longer be limited by the number of employees in a single import file.
  • Performance improvements have been made to the employee import.
  • Employee additions and updates may now be imported from a single import file.
  • Existing “Add Employee” and “Update Employee” templates have been replaced with the “Add/Update Employee” template.
  • The Endorser First and Last Name fields were removed from the template.
  • The Supervisor, Alternate Appraiser and Alternate Endorser First and Last Name fields were replaced with Supervisor, Alternate Appraiser, and Alternate Endorser Employee Id fields.
  • The first time you use the new “Add/Update Employee” template, you will be required to map the fields you wish to import. Your new field mappings will then be saved.
  • The Job Code Import is now part of the Data Import Wizard.
  • We removed the original Employee Data Import that was used prior to the new Data Import Wizard.
